The ST-80 brass center pivot hinge is employed when a minimum of visible hardware is desired or when the door must swing free of its frame. It is mortised into the top and bottom of the door and frame; only the pivot is visible. The leaf measures 51 mm x 13 mm x 5 mm.

Smooth and precise

I used the ST-80 because my doors are fairly heavy (4/4 Paduak) and I wanted to make sure there was no sag. The hinges worked great and are as smooth as silk.

Very nice

Machining was well done. Feel of movement is smooth and zero play keeps all your lines straight. Difficult to install (both halves fully mortised) within existing opening. I had to create a slot/channel for installation and then fill afterwards. Alignment needs to be perfect because machining allows for zero play. Very nice products, I’ll definitely buy again.
